Why do I need a stage at all?
Having the band slightly raised is important for a number of reasons;
- It gives the band a bit of height enabling all your guests to see the performers
- It gives the band a performance space to throw some shapes
- They can set up all the equipment, cabling and instruments without getting in anyones way
- It creates a focal point in the room for the party
- It's a great place to get up and have a boogie with the band!
- Placing moving lights on or above the stage helps create the right party atmosphere
Based on hundreds of events and many years of experience, the tables below are our essential guides to the right size for each band size. This doesn't take into account the room layout, amount of space available, or the type of instruments on stage, so we always advise giving us a call to discuss your event in more detail. We will happily give our advice and the benefit of our experience with no obligation to use our services.

Guideline Requirements
We Advise Hirer to have risk assessment and hire / use stage steps to safely enter up on to stage.
We advise when using a 60cm (2ft) stage height to use / hire stage safety railings and handrails for stage steps, in any instance where stage is free standing i.e. [not up against a fixed wall]
lower 1ft stage Hight of (0.3m) no steps / railings are generally required
