ALL PRICES ON THIS SITE ARE BASED ON HIRES WITHIN BERKSHIRE THAT ARE WITHIN 20 MILES DISTANCE OF RG4 POSTCODE. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MOST AREAS IN SLOUGH, BRACKNELL, MAIDENHEAD, WOKINGHAM, WINDSOR, SANDHURST, CROWTHORNE, TWYFORD, *WEST BERKSHIRE : NEWBURY, THATCHAM, HUNGERFORD, LAMBOURN WITHIN 20 MILES RADIUS OF READING RG4 POSTCODE (*Additional Surcharge will be charged for locations outside of the 20 mile radius charged at £15 each way for up-to a further 10 miles, then £15 per 10 miles there after each way minimum £15 mileage surcharge

OUR SYSTEMS ARE SET UP AND TESTED BY OUR ENGINEERS AND SHOWN WORKING BEFORE WE LEAVE THE PREMISES OF EVENT, A SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED ON DELIVERY OF EQUIPMENT FROM THE CUSTOMER (OR FROM CUSTOMER / VENUE REPRESENTATIVE IF CUSTOMER IS NOT AVAILABLE TO SIGN) IF A CUSTOMER NEEDS ASSISTANT IN WORKING THE SYSTEM DURING AN EVENT ONCE WE HAVE LEFT, A MINIMUM £80 CALL OUT FEE WILL BE CHARGED, A PAYMENT WILL BE BILLED IMMEDIATELY AND CHARGED TO CUSTOMER BEFORE ENGINEER CALLS OUT, IF STILL UNPAID AT THE END OF THE BOOKING THIS CHARGE WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF HIRE REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.

INDOOR HIRE
ALL EQUIPMENT HIRED AND KEPT OVERNIGHT BY HIRER MUST BE LOCKED IN A SECURE ROOM
OUTSIDE HIRE
FOR ALL EQUIPMENT HIRED FOR OUTDOOR USE HIRER SHOULD PROVIDE SHELTER TO PROTECT THE EQUIPTMENT IN THE CASE OF RAIN OR HIGH WINDS SO THAT EQUIPTMENT IS PROTECTED, ELECTRICAL EQUIPTMENT SHOULD NOT BE USED IN HEAVY RAIN AND SHOULD BE COVERED ADEQUATELY WITH WATERPROOF COVERING IF IT HAS BEEN ASK TO BE SET UP OR IS HIRED TO BE BE USED UNCOVERED. AND MUST BE TAKEN INSIDE OVERNIGHT BY HIRER AND MUST BE LOCKED IN A SECURE ROOM

GAZEBO HIRE
IT IS RECOMMENDED WHEN USING POP UP GAZEBOS TO SECURE SAFELY TO THE GROUND, WE RECOMEND HIRING 2 x 13KG GAZEBO WEIGHTS PER EACH GAZEBO LEG TO WEIGHT DOWN THE GAZEBO, ON HARD FLOOR SUCH AS CONCRETE AND ALSO ON GRASS AREAS. OUR CAST IRON GAZEBO WEIGHTS WEIGH 12.5- 13KG EACH AND ARE RECOMMENDED ON ALL HIRES RATHER THAN THE STANDARD SMALL PINS SUPPLIED WITH THE GAZEBO AS THE STANDARD PINS DO NOT GRIP THE GROUND SECURLY AND DO NONT WORK ON HARD SURFACES. BY USING CAST IRON WEIGHTS ON EACH LEG 2 WEIGHTS WILL OVER LAP EACH OTHER WHEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY TO PREVENT GAZEBO FROM SLIDING AND LIFTING UP IN ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS, WHICH CAN HELP PROTECT YOU AND YOUR GUESTS AND ALSO PROTECT YOUR REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WHICH COULD BE HELD AGAINST LATE RETURNS AND DAMAGE

WHEN HIRING A 2FT HIGH OR HIGHER STAGE WE RECCOMMEND FOR YOOUR SAFETY YOU HIRE STAGE RAILS AND STEPS AND WHILST ENTERING AND LEAVING THE STAGE YOU USE STEPS AND RAILS WHEN PROVIDED
PAYMENTS / REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS
Hire Procedure
Firstly a paid hire fee will secure equipment and booking date, then In addition to the hire fee there is a compulsory Refundable Deposit which we only accept by bank transfer to be paid no later than 48 hours before the event, this deposit will be returned upon us collecting the hired goods / equipment,
Same Day Bookings and Last Minute Bookings within 72 Hours of Hire Date
Full Hire Fees and Refundable Deposit Agree required Immediately Upfront
we do not offer 30 invoices terms
HOLDING DEPOSITS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL DRY HIRE BOOKINGS UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED

ALL PAYMENTS & REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS MUST BE MADE VIA BANK TRANSFER AND ALL REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS AS OF 6TH APRIL 2022 AND EXISTING DEPOSITS WILL BE REFUNDED VIA FAST BANK TRANSFER, UPON RETURN / COLLECTION OF EQUIPMENT FULL WORKING CONDITION).

ONCE WE HAVE SET UP EQUIPTMENT SHOWN EQUIPTMENT IN FULL WORKING ORDER TO HIRER OR VENUE REPRESENTIVE WHO HAS SIGNED ON BEHALF OF HIRER AND LEFT THE PREMISIES, ALL RESPOSIBILITY LIES WITH THE HIRER TO TAKE CARE OF EQUIPTMENT, ANY DAMAGE , OR EQUIPTMENT WHAT STOPS WORKING IS RESPOSIBILITY OF HIRER
INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS
IF PAYING FROM AN INTERNATIONAL BANK ACCOUNT PLEASE REQUEST OUR IBAN (International Bank Account Number).
ALL INTERNATIONAL FEES ARE THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE HIRER AND ANY CHARGES THAT OCCUR BOTH WAYS FOR PAYMENTS IN & OUT GOING TO REFUND HOLDING DEPOSIT IF OCCURED WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
LATE RETURNS
IF WE COME TO COLLECT EQUIPMENT AT ARRANGED TIMES AND NO ONE IS AVAILABLE OR WE CANNOT ACCESS THE PREMISES TO COLLECT THE EQUIPMENT AND HAVE TO WAIT MORE THAN 30 MINUTES AFTER THE ARRANGED COLLECTION TIME TO COLLECT THE EQUIPTMENT , YOU WILL BE CHARGED ANOTHER DAYS HIRE FEE (WITH A MINIMUM CHARGE OF £60 WHERE WE HAVE TO COME BACK OUT AGAIN AT A LATER TOME / DATE TO COLLECT) OTHERWISE ANOTHER DAYS HIRE FEE PER EACH ADDITIONAL 24 HOURS AFTER THE CONTRACTED HIRE DURATION. AFTER STILL NOT RECEIVING ITEMS BACK AFTER 2 DAYS, WE WILL INVOICE/BILL YOU FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2 DAY HIRE THEN BILL YOU IN FULL FOR THE REPLACEMENT COST OF THE EQUIPMENT WHICH WE WILL NOW DEEM AS MISSING.
AFTER 48 HOURS WE WILL TERMINATE THE HIRE AND THERSE COSTS WILL INITIALLY BE TAKEN OUT OF REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IF THE HIRER HAS NOT CALLED AND SETTLED BEFOREHAND, MEANING YOUR REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS WILL BE HELD UNTIL THESE EXTRA FEES ARE PAID, AND ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS THAT EXCEEDS THE REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AMOUNT WILL BE BILLED TO YOU AND NEED TO BE SETTLED IMMEDIATELY, AFTER 2 DAYS OF US SENDING YOU THE INVOICE FOR ADDITIONAL HIRE FEE / NOTICE OF THE REPLACEMENT CHARGES AND ADDITIONAL FEES, IF STILL NOT SETTLED, THIS FAILURE TO PAY WITHIN GIVEN TIME FRAME WILL RESULT IN FURTHER PROCEEDINGS BEING MADE AGAINST THE HIRER WHERE FAILURE FOR US TO COLLECT OUR COSTS.
PLEASE ENSURE TO LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE IF TIMES CHANGE SO WE CAN DISCUSS COLLECTING ARRANGMENT
HOLDING DEPOSITS ARE REFUNDABLE AFTER THE END OF THE BOOKING USUALLY WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIVING YOUR BANK DETAILS, THESE DEPOSITS ARE RETURNED BY SAME PAYMENT METHOD CUSTOMER USED AT TIME OF ORIGINAL BOOKING, REFUNDABLE HOLDING DEPOSIT PAYMENTS WILL USUALLY APPEAR IN YOUR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY OR WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES CAN TAKE UP TO 24 HOURS
HOWEVER (IF ANY) REFUNDABLE HOLDING DEPOSIT PAYMENTS ARE MADE BY CREDIT CARD AND DEBIT CARD CAN TAKE UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 30 WORKING DAYS TO RE-APPEAR ON YOUR CARD STATEMENT, THIS IS IN EXTREMELY RARE CIRCUMSTANCES AND DEPENDS ON CARD ISSUER / BANK PROCESSING TIME. TO PAY DEPOSIT BY CARD THIS WILL NEED TO BE AUTHORIZED BY BERKSHIRE SOUND HIRE BEFOREHAND AND MAY INCUR AN ADMIN FEE OF UP TO 4%. WE RE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING PAYPAL FOR REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS BUT IN THE CASE OF IT BEING PAID THIS WAY WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION PLEASE NOTE APPLICABLE CHARGE: PLEASE DO NOT USE THE PAY NOW LINK ON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IF YOU RECEIVE A PAYPAL INVOICE

PIONEER DJM800/900 MIXERS, CDJ 900/2000 HIRE DEPOSITS HAVE A COMPULSORY MINIMUM REFUNDABLE SECURITY HOLDING DEPOSIT OF £500-£1200 PER DECK. THESE DEPOSITS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IF THERE IS DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT. ANY FURTHER FEES (IF ANY) TO COVER LOSS OR DAMAGE OF EQUIPMENT WILL BE REQUESTED AND TO BE PAID IN FULL WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE ORIGINAL HIRE DATE, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN FURTHER PROCEEDINGS AGAINST THE HIRER.

A £15 minimum charge to cover the cleaning of equipment come back dirty i.e. spillages, dirt, etc. on equipment, equipment casing or protective covers, cleaning charges will be worked out per hour of domestic cleaning fees or charge to service the equipment if needs to have a full service then charge will be billed to customer, initial charge will be deducted from hirers refundable deposit
CANCELLATIONS
HIRE PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY BOOKINGS CANCELLED BY THE BOOKING PARTY, HOWEVER IF YOU HAVE THE PAID REFUNDBLE HOLDING DEPOSIT THIS WILL BE RE-IMBURSED
POSTPONED BOOKINGS
IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE DATE OF YOUR EVENT PLEASE CONTACT US A MINIMUM OF 30 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT TO SEE IF WE CAN DO A CHANGE OF DATE FOR YOU, DATE CHANGES WITHIN 30 DAYS PRIOR OF THE SCHEDULED EVENT DATE WILL MEAN LOSS OF ORIGINAL HIRE FEE AND A NEW PAYMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AGAIN IN FULL FOR ANY NEW DATE, WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVENTS CANCELLED OR POSTPONED DUE TO FORCES OF NATURE OR ACTS OF GOD, IN THEESE CIRCUMSTANCES, A NEW BOOKING WILL OCCUR A NEW HIRE FEE, THIS IS FINAL

NOW SWITCH ON THE SPEAKERS USING THE POWER SWITCH USUALLY LOCATED ON THE BACK OF THE UNIT
Always ensure that the speaker system is the last thing you power-up, and the first thing to turn off when operating your complete PA system. If speaker systems are daisy chained (linked) together always turn off the last system in the chain first. Power “on” is indicated by the illumination of the light / logo on the front of the enclosure and the power “on” LED on the back.
• First, switch on the power to the mixer, audio sources, or musical instruments that are feeding your speakers. • Next, turn on the power switch.
• Reverse this process when shutting down your system.
This same rule applies with passive speakers and amplifier set up
SPEAKER POWER-UP AND SHUT DOWN PROCEDURE
(AMPLIFIER AND *PASSIVE (*NON-POWERED) SPEAKERS)
The main power switch is located on the front panel on the amplifier enclosure. Always ensure that the amplifier system is the last thing you power-up, and the first thing to turn off when operating your complete PA system. Power “on” is indicated by the illumination of the LED light on the front of the enclosure.
• First, switch on the power to the mixer, audio sources, or musical instruments that are feeding your amplifiers. • Next, turn on the Amplifier power switch.
• Reverse this process when shutting down your system.
CHECK THE LIMIT LED LIGHT
The LIMIT indicator flashes when the loudspeaker’s amplifiers / Power amplifier / mixers levels are approaching maximum output. Occasional flashes are normal for very loud operation. However, if the LIMIT LED stays illuminated, the sound may be distorted and it is an indication that more speakers or a lower performance volume may be required for your specific application.
